I would be delighted to create for you a sensitive, lifelike portrait painting in my realistic, yet semi-impressionistic style, which captures not only the likeness, but the personality of the subject. It is always preferable for me to meet and become acquainted with the subject, when possible. Customarily, I conduct an extensive photo shoot. From these photos, with my help, you will approve the pose, expression, clothing, background and composition before work on the portrait begins. Work may be commissioned from existing photographs where a meeting is not possible, and if the photographic quality is deemed sufficient for me to work from.

A deposit of one-third is required when the commission is agreed upon; the balance is due prior to shipping or upon delivery. Digital previews of completed paintings to be shipped are available on request. Requests for minor modifications in the finished portrait will be honored. My goal is complete client satisfaction. I want you to be thrilled with your portrait, and treasure it for a lifetime. The completion time of portraits in oil varies between one and three months. In other media, a portrait is usually shipped within six weeks of commissioning.
